I want a Lychee

i hate awkward moments.

So I was doing laundry at my boyfriend’s house today. His brother brought up the clothes for us ‘cause he needed the dryer for his clothes. I said thank you, folded the clothes, got back to whatever I was doing. 

THEN.. his dad knocks on the door. “Is this yours? It was on the floor outside.” I didn’t know who he was talking to, but I turned to look anyway. He was holding one of my thongs wrapped in a napkin. I just took it from him and muttered “oh, thank you.” Actually, I don’t even remember if I said thank you or not.. 

Awkward. Very very awkward.
